Idea vs. Reality?

It happens very often but sometimes when it comes to watches we like the idea of owning the watch rather than the actually reality. For instance, that this rare Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Moonphase Chronograph ref. 1518 – let’s been honest, most of us can imagine yourself wearing said timepiece but actually owning it and physically wearing might be a completely different thing. Not to say it’s not a great watch but what if once it’s on your wrist you don’t really like the feel or size…?
