We’ve known the gentlemen at Molequin for quite some time and when we first heard of this new collaboration project they were embarking on, we were rather intrigued to say the least. Moreover, when we contacted by the guys from Molequin to create a collaborative item, I think it is fair to say we were rather chuffed.
While straps are no doubt one of the most important watch accessories, the vessel in which you transport your beloved timepieces in are perhaps a close second. So when tasked with a collaborative piece, it had to be a case in my favourite colour: green.
We didn’t stop there. A contrast is the spice of life, so we opted for a camel-tone suede interior with a green keeper, a nice little detail that adds extra character to the case and gives it a somewhat vintage look.
This calfskin grained “Hunter Green” two-watch pouch, is designed to be a secure, slim and all-round travel accessory, in classic hunter green and camel colour combination.
THE DESIGN
The case is beautifully presented in a Grained green calf skin and matching tone on tone stitching. The interior is finished in camel Alcantara®, which is far more durable and resilient than suede. Molequin use a smooth, high quality colour matched coil zip. Completing the overall look is a polished stainless steel zip pull.
Capacity: Holds up to two watches. The space should comfortably fit pieces with case sizes up to 46 mm, while the recess is 12mm in depth. It is important to note that these pouches were designed with watches on straps in mind, and may not accommodate watches on bracelets.
