After viewing various websites to find information about my areas of interest and passion, I had a thought – how many other men have these particular interests? Why isn’t there one place where I can read about them? Light bulb: BEXSONN was born. My obsession with watches goes back as far as I can remember but my love for whisky is relatively new, since I was of legal age.

During downtime, Christopher can usually be found scouring the internet or the odd antique store for new or vintage watches (mainly eBay & Chrono24), Gaming online or enjoying new, old and sometimes very old Whisky’s with friends (or on his lonesome) mostly the latter.

Along side running BEXSONN, Christopher also regularly contributes to online magazine Revolution and his  Photography work has shown up in publications such as – QP Magazine, Esquire and the Telegraph.

Sean Song

Sean is a graphic designer by trade, but stumbled across watches a few years ago (probably with a whisky on hand) and never looked back. A collector at heart from a young age (Pokemon cards and Hot Wheels), his interests vary from watches and whisky, to literature and art. A newbie to the industry, he is looking to meet as many like-minded people and to learn as much as he can through writing.

Alongside contributing to Bexsonn, Sean also writes for the editorial section of Watch Xchange, an online watch trading platform.

Michael Thurston

Michael is a drinks professional who has worked in bars, Michelin starred restaurants, hotels and beverage retail. As a trained sommelier, whilst his love of wine is strong, his passion for whisky is greater. He hopes that one day the general public’s knowledge and appreciation of whisky (and spirits) becomes similar to that of wine and food. Michael’s discerning palate focuses on the pure expression of the whisky, ignoring the marketing, branding and hype.

Being surrounded by Chris and Sean, his interest in watches has developed and he takes his cues from them both. But, it’s normally Michael drinking the better drams.
